So its only by 3 hrs, but now I can say I posted in Jan and Feb!! What accomplishments. In all honesty, I'm only posting so I can officially say I made it in Feb. I'd rather be reading my book :) So, that being said, I'll talk about something very big in a very short time. Today we made it public that #5 is on the way! Holy moly, its still crazy and I don't really believe it - but its true! I love having a big family, so there is no doubt that this new member of the Van Clan will add even more joy to our already loud and fun family!

ON..... Jared surprised me with roses the day before Valentine's Day,
but the big surprise came the next morning! The following is the riddle
we gave the kids today: "Eben, Aliza, Nora and Zane, Here's a riddle
for you today. Read it out loud and make a guess. Let's hear what you
have to say. I'm super teeny tiny, and you can't yet see my face. I'm a
special gift from God above, sent to the Van Haitsma place. I can't
wait to meet you and cuddle with you all. There's a lot more growing to
do, so I'll see you in the Fall! What am I?"
We recorded Eben reading the riddle and I really thought they would get it. Not so much :) It took about 4 minutes of talking it through before they put it all together. They certainly didn't jump up and down. Actually, I think some of them said, "I don't want you to have another baby." Oh boy! However, that said person was already giving some ideas for names before the evening was over :) All will be well!
Ok, time for a book. Its called Leeway Cottage and is set during WWII.

Oh, by the way, little Z man is 9 months today! WOW, how did that happen??? He was 29 3/4 inches and 22lbs 4 oz. BIG BOY! Just a smiley, giggly little guy. Love him so much :)
